Speculoos and Chocolate Cookies
Today's recipe is a great one. Easy too. And, of course, delicious. It's made with speculoos spread, which is great by itself (a spoonful every once in a while can't hurt, right? Right???) but it's frankly amazing in these cookies.
Pear and Raspberry Crisp
After months of semi-hiatus, I'm back! My absence can be easily explained though; I've finally decided to study and professionalize what I really love: baking. I decided doing it so in one of the most prestigious schools, Hofmann School, in Barcelona. And I absolutely love it. However, it means that I don't have tons of free time. And it means that the blog has been very neglected. I plan on publishing more, in fact I have several recipes on hold, but every post takes up some time to make and I simply don't have it right now!
CRANBERRY AND PEAR HOMEMADE GRANOLA
Today's recipe is super healthy. You can have this amazing cranberry and pear homemade granola on your breakfast, or as a snack anytime. In winter, it's great with some hot milk, and during the summer you can have it with some yoghurt.
DOUBLE CHOCOLATE HOMEMADE "MAGNUM" ICE CREAM BARS
I write this while suffering from the unbearable heat we have in Barcelona. In a dark room, in order to avoid the sun to make the temperatures escalate even more. It's not ideal, spending your summer in such a hot city, specially without the possibility of taking a dip whenever you need it...
Raspberry Mascarpone Naked Cake
After a couple months of radio silence, I'm back! And I come back with this beautiful naked cake. Four layers of vanilla cake with a sweet mascarpone frosting and the juicy acidic taste of the fresh raspberries.
Who doesn't fancy a freshly baked croissant in the morning? Or maybe you are more in the mood for a muffin... You can't decide? Why not try a cruffin? You may be wondering what is a cruffin. Well, it is, as the name says, a combination between croissant and muffin. Cool, huh?
Pomegranate and Truffle Tarts
Don't you just love the look of these pomegranate and truffle tarts? The smoothness of soft pink filling contrasting with the fluffiness of the truffle decoration? I love them!
Wintery Spelt Genovese Sponge Cake
Has ever happened to you that you felt like something was going to be way more difficult than it was in the end? It often happens to me, that I think that some pastry or dessert is going to be more difficult than it actually is.
Black and White Oreo Cheesecake (with truffles)
Since I found the white oreos in the supermarket, I knew I had to do something with them. They taste slightly sweeter than the classic ones, but amazing anyways. I have used oreos for my recipes before; in my Oreo cupcakes, the Cookies and Cream Cake and even in ice cream format, with the Homemade Cookies and Cream Ice Cream.
I know I've been absent for quite some time- full time job and social life have completely absorbed me- so I haven't published in a long time! Don't worry though, I have been baking a lot so I have got a lot of new recipes to share with you!
Intense Chocolate and Blackberry Bundt Cake
Who does not like chocolate? Does your mouth water at the sight of a big chocolate cake slice? This intense chocolate and blackberry bundt cake has an ingredient that boosts its flavour without making it too strong. Can you guess what is it?
Sablé Breton Cookies
Have you ever tasted Sablé Breton cookies? They are perfect for tea time, a delicious crunchy and sandy texture that melts in your mouth. Are you interested yet?
Whole Wheat Carrot Cake
Now that Autumn is here, with shorter days, it is great to start the day with an extra dose of energy, right? Making this whole wheat carrot cake won't take you more than an hour, and it will be your breakfast for a week.
Chèvre and Vegetables Savory Tart
The recipe I bring you today it's a fairly easy one. And healthy, too. You can do it in less than an hour and the results are pretty great -if I say so myself.
Cherry Meringue Tart
Today's recipe is a summer recipe... because even though the streets are often more wet than dry, I am struggling with the idea of letting go. Plus, let's face it, it's not time yet for coats and scarfs, no matter how hard the clothing stores are trying to convince us...
White Chocolate Mini Cookies
Today's recipe is perfect for a bad day. One of those days that never end, when your body asks for a little push, these cookies will do it for you.
Vanilla and caramel ice cream bars
I don't know about you, but we are starting to feel the temperature changes over here. However, I am still posting my absolutely favorite ice creams from this summer! Today's ice cream is a marvelous vanilla ice cream bar -with real Bourbon vanilla bean!- with homemade salted caramel, coated with a dainty coating of milk chocolate and crocanti. Mouthwatering, I know!
Homemade "Cookies and Cream" ice cream
Again, I bring you an ice cream recipe...and summer is almost gone, I know! However, I am one of those people who firmly believe that you can eat ice cream anytime. Right? Even more so if you make it yourself!
Homemade vanilla and caramelized Macadamia nuts "Magnums"
After an eternity of not posting anything, I'm back again! This time I come with these Homemade vanilla and caramelized Macadamia nuts "Magnums", a sweet treat that you can have as a dessert or a snack. Plus, with them being made at home, you know exactly what they are made of, and they are way healthier!
Walnut and Dark Chocolate Cookies
I know, I am posting a cookie recipe again... The thing is, I've been learning lots of new recipes and I am in the process of doing them and showing them to you here! I will be posting lots of new things soon but, in the meantime, another cookie recipe!
