After a week with no new posts, I bring you this marvelous tart. Two chocolates, almonds and sprinkled with sea salt flakes that enhance the flavor of this amazing tart. Its very intense. I can safely say that you won't be able to eat just a slice of it!

Today's cookies are in honor of "Sant Jordi"'s legend. Just in case you are not familiar with it, the legend tells that Sant Jordi (Saint George) was a valiant knight that ended the life of an evil dragon, saving a princess from being devoured and a whole kingdom. It is said that, from the blood that burst from the mortal wound, a rose bush with red roses sprouted.

Have you ever tasted the perfect cookie and then have tried to recreate it? I did. One of the first recipes I have ever tried was the chocolate chip cookie recipe. I wanted them to be chewy and sweet but, after a little confusion with the baking time and the fact that I was insistent on the fact that they must be more toasted, I ended up with dozens of rock-like cookies. You couldn't bite them without losing your teeth.

After that failed experiment, I tried two different recipes but none of them were as chewy as I wanted them so I gave up.

Until now.

Dark Chocolate and Pistachios Cupcakes

Today's recipe is very (very) chocolate-y. I took it from

gimmesomeoven

's blog but I modified it a little bit. I have added the pistachios and changed the frosting because, as much as I love chocolate, it would have been too rich for some people; so instead of the dark chocolate ganache she did, I have changed it into a mousse.
